When in daily prayer
you seek to surrender
yourself to the Spirit
and not to make
the moon and stars
dance in the sky,
you will sooner understand
the transformative power
of prayer.

Sometimes it takes
the greatest courage
to take action,
sometimes to endure,
sometimes to say “yes”
or sometimes “no,”
sometimes to just walk away.
