I need a center—

I need a center—
a place to feel at home,
a place to rest and revel,
a place where it is right
to feel the joy
and suffering alike,
a place where “to know”
and “not know” are not
opposites, a place
where opposites are
mostly illusion
and don’t matter
in the way I have thought
they mattered,
a place where
my precious judgements
shrivel and dissolve.
I need this place
to feel the peace.
And, alas, it is here,
in this moment,
in the Spirit that is
Peace, Life and Love.
