Happy surprise to run into James Finley. His Merton’s Palace of Nowhere began my search and understanding of contemplative prayer. I used to go to his workshops in Cleveland. His paradoxical writings are so pithy – and true. Where did you encounter him?
I simply came upon James Finley through my readings on contemplation and if read his stuff regularly ever since. Simply excellent!
