Filtered Presence

The more your presence
is rigidly filtered
through a screen
of familial and cultural
norms, standards,
expectations and demands,
the less you will be able
to be a listening,
healing presence
for the world.

  1. Amen, Brother Ference!

The more you try to achieve an ideal, the longer you remain in a world of pretend. Where you’re just waiting for something or someone to come along and burst the bubble… No fun, that. Bubbles are pretty fragile domains.
